Cut to Length Heater Tapes
APPLICATION
Freeze protection (including sprinkler systems, water lines, gutter and roofs), refrigeration, hot water temperature maintenance, foodprocessing, chemical manufacture, pharmaceuticals, refineries, acidic and petro-chemical plants, power generation and offshore oil industries.
CONSTRUCTION: Daspass manufactured a range of heater tapes which can be cut to the exact circuit lengths on-side, for maximum convenience and minimum wastage. Robust in construction and available with braid and oversheath for mechanical and corrosive protection as required, the Cut-to-Length tapes are available in two versions:
ELECTRACE self-regulating tapes with a variable loading, reducing power output with increasing temperature. Tape withstand temperatures form -40° to 200°C. METERHEAT zone-parallel tapes, pre-designed to a specific loading per unit length to provide the same power outside irrespective of the pipe temperature. Tape withstand temperatures from -50° to 260°C.
